The first game that looks like there's a clear edge is the SF/MIA total.

SF/MIA total O 7.5 -115
Cobb (SF) and Hernandez (MIA) pitching. ERA's above 5 for both for the season and for the last few starts.
  1. Of the 17 combined starts for these pitchers this season 14 games have gone over 7.
  2. Of the 14 prior games these two teams in the last 7-10 days, only 5 have not gone over 7.
  3. Miami's pen is OK at best (3.76 ERA) and they used up a lot of pitchers in a 13-12 game Wednesday vs Colorado (part of a double header that day). Okert, their best reliever is likley not available (pitched in prior 2 games).
  4. SF pen is not great either (4.05 ERA) but they do have a couple of decent relievers available (Leone, Alvarez).

1. PIT F5 ML -110.
2. PIT +102 vs Arizona for game.

PIT is on a little bit of a roll having swept the Dodgers. We're going to ride that momentum into PNC park tonight.

I like the matchup Brubaker (PIT) vs Kelly (ARI). Brubaker has been pitching much better than Kelly over the month (2.63 ERA vs 6.31 ERA). This is why I like the F5 ML play.

PIT bats were doing exceptionally well against LAD in the last series scoring 6, 5, & 8 Runs in those 3 games against some good Dodger pitching. So making a play on the full game at +102 makes sense and helps offset any potential for a bad start from Brubaker (which I don't see).

Tampa F5 RL -0.5 -140 vs CWS

I liked TB for the game but -186 is steep and to be honest I'm sold on this game because McClanahan (TB) is pitching. This guy is in his 2nd year and is lit. 2.01 ERA. He's 1.83 ERA over the last month. He should give us 6-7 solid innings. He faces Velasquez (CWS) 5.30 ERA for the season and 4.49 ERA over last month. Velasquez will be lucky to go 5 innings.

Last 3 starts for each pitcher and results if you bet the F5 in each game.
McClanahan 3-0
Velasquez 0-3

Similiarly for the teams, in the F5 over the last 5 games:
TB 2-3
CWS 0-4-1

KC +117 vs Houston

Houston is on a 4 game winnings streak while KC is on a 4 game losing streak so why the hell are you playing KC???? Houston played OAK and SEA, two teams vying for last place in American League West. KC played MIN and CLE, two teams vying for first place in American League central.

Urquidy (HOU) has an avg ERA 4.80 for the season but on the road it balloons to 7.09 ERA in 6 games. Every one of his "bad" outings has been on the road. Singer (KC) has 2.49 ERA and has been doing even better over the last month (1.37 ERA).

Of the games listed in this thread, this one might be the biggest stretch to hit but at +117 I like the value.

2-4 -2.20 with the Mauler loss last night.

Maulers had so many chances to cover in that 4th quarter....
> Didn't score from the 7 yard line of the Generals with 6 min left.
> Missed a field goal later that would have covered the spread.
