There are a couple of plays I like today.
MIL @ St Louis 7:15 ET
STL ML +128
This one is a little bit of a stretch but I think, with how well the Cardinals have been playing lately, they will win this game. MIL has a clear edge in the starting pitching today but all other factors point towards STL. I like the value we are seeing with the line so its a play for me.
Starting Pitching
Burnes (MIL) 2.45 ERA vs Wainwright (STL) 3.42 ERA. Milwaukee has the advantage in pitching and each pitcher has faced this opponent twice. Wainwright did not do very well giving up 7 ERs in 9.2 innings of work. Burnes did very well giving up 0 ERs in 14 innings of work.
Batting:
Recent performance at the plate by STL is what I think will allow the Cards to win today. They are outperforming the Brewers in recent games.
