We're going to start with NYY U 8.5 -126 BetOnline 11:35 ET
There's a little push on the line for the under 8.5.

I see Garcia (DET) and Montgomery (NYY) pitching well. Garcia's ERA is a little elevated due to his last outing against the Twins where he gave up 6 ER. I see this as anomoly. He had just started against the same Twins 6 days earlier. Hinch appears to be moving Garcia from a reliever role into a starter. The two Twins games were his first "real" starts this year.

Both bullpens are very very good so I'm hoping Garcia either pitches well or is pulled at the first sign of trouble.

The only way I'm seeing (on paper) that this goes over, is if NYY score a lot, otherwise I think this is a good bet. 7 out of last 10 NYY games and 6 out the last 10 Tigers games were under this total.

The line opened Stars -6 and dropped to -2. I don't see the Stars losing this game. I had posted my thoughts on this spread in another thread.

The line opened Stars -6 and is down to -2. I think its oversold.

I'm liking the Stars -2 in this game. I know the Panthers played the Stars to a 1 point game 4 weeks ago but since they've lost to Tampa by 7 and Breakers by 4. Tampa and Breakers I see as on-par with the Stars.

I'm seeing a ton of money on the under but these two teams have historically been way over the totals.

USFL Gamblers +4.5 4:00 ET

Ok Gamblers are tied for last w/ Panthers and Maulers in the USFL at 1-6 but they are a much much better team than their record indicates.

Last week they had the Stars beat 24-13 through 3 quarters and collapsed in 4th quarter.
2 weeks ago they lost to the Generals by 1 on a last second TD.
3 weeks ago they lost to the Maulers again on a TD with 4 seconds left.
4 weeks ago they lost to the Breakers on a TD with 10 seconds left.
5 weeks ago they lost to these Bandits on a 46 yd FG with 13 seconds left.

The Gamblers are due some good luck.

Meanwhile the Bandits are over-rated.
They lost to the Generals last week by 7
2 weeks ago they lost to the Stars by 7
3 weeks ago they barely beat the Panthers with a late TD in the 4th quarter.
