Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Here are my rankings, with last week in parenthesis.
I also provide a reason I'm thankful for each team
1. Chiefs (1) - I’m thankful we get to watch Patrick Mahomes every week. He’s worthy of being Joe Burrow’s son.
2. 49ers (2) - I’m thankful we get to look at Jimmy G’sbeautiful face every week.
3. Eagles (3) - I’m thankful we get to see these obnoxious fans have a meltdown in January this year.
4. Bills (4) - I’m thankful we will have an opportunity to see Josh Allen. He’s worthy of being Patrick Mahomes’ son/Burrow’s grandson.
5. Cowboys (7) - I’m thankful we will get to see Skip Bayless melt down after another Dallas playoff collapse.
6. Ravens (6) - I’m thankful Lamar Jackson/John Harbaugh tend to struggle late in seasons, and will figure out a way to give the Bengals the division
7. Bengals (8) - I’m thankful for Joe Burrow, aka the literal Son of God. We should all be thankful that God has graced us with Joey Burrrrr’s existence. He makes the world unequivocally a better place to live in.
8. Titans (10) - I’m thankful for this team being a covering machine, as long as they take this week off.
9. Dolphins (9) - I’m thankful that Tua has gotten better and that they give Le a local team to root for.
10. Patriots (11) - I’m thankful that Belichick has never changed and that he still eats young QB’s alive, despite his own young QB kinda sucking.
11. Bucs (12) - I’m thankful for Tom Brady, showing men everywhere how to properly respond to a divorce.
12. Seahawks (15) - I’m thankful for Geno Smith, dropping the hammer this year and proving how overrated Russell Wilson is.
13. Commanders (16) - I’m thankful for Taylor Heinicke, crushing Busch Lites and giving the folks of DC some hope.
14. Giants (13) - I’m thankful for Saquon Barkley, staying healthy for once in his career and being able to hide the fatal flaws of his awful quarterback.
15. Jets (14) - I’m thankful for Joe Flacco, for still being bad enough to give the Bengals a free win yet good enough to still play this late in his career.
16. Chargers (17) - I’m thankful for Justin Herbert, for being good enough to cover numbers when you need him to, but also preserving the Chargers’ choking tradition.
17. Falcons (21) - I’m thankful for Marcus Mariota, for flipping the bird to all the haters out there and proving that he is fully capable of being a low-end starting quarterback in this league.
18. Packers (18) - I’m thankful we get to watch Aaron Rodgers scoff at his teammates and roll his eyes more than normal this year.
19. Lions (24) - I’m thankful for Jared Goff for being the brutal force that he is as of late and proving he is at least mediocre.
20. Cardinals (19) - I’m thankful for DeAndre Hopkings saving my fantasy football season and proving that drafting him was NOT a mistake.
21. Rams (20) - I’m thankful for this entire team absorbing the Super Bowl hangover that my Bengals were supposed to have.
22. Steelers (22) - I’m thankful that the Steelers have become our little bitch in the division
23. Colts (23) - I’m thankful for Jeff Saturday coming in and proving all the haters wrong with his hot 1-1 start.
24. Bears (25) - I’m thankful for Justin Fields, as he may FINALLY be the Ohio State quarterback that ends up being at least not awful.
25. Saints (27) - I’m thankful for Andy Dalton for still being in the league and sharing his mediocrity with other teams
26. Browns (26) - I’m thankful for class-A human being DeShaun Watson returning back to this shit storm of a franchise.
27. Jaguars (28) - I’m thankful for Trevor Lawrence, being sucky enough to make my prediction of Fields being the better quarterback seemingly come true
28. Raiders (31) - I’m thankful for Derek Carr, who will always be good in my book for that last throw against the Bengals in the Wild Card round last season.
29. Panthers (29) - I’m thankful for this Carolina defense, only choosing to suck against us and helping me sweep this past weekend
30. Broncos (30) - I’m thankful for Russell Wilson, providing one of the best regular fades this season and proving my biggest offseason prediction to be spot on.
31. Texans (32) - I’m thankful for this entire organization giving that exemplary human being DeShaun Watson to the Cleveland Browns
32. Vikings (5) - I’m thankful for Kirk Cousins being who he is, and for giving us all the opportunity to fade the Minnesota Vikings this postseason.
