Stiffed by Bovada and ghosted by bookmakerreview

Bovada canceled multiple parlays I placed. The odds were at the closing line. They referenced a rule that basically means they cancel whatever bet they want for any reason. I tried reaching out to CS, they blew me off.

I wrote to bookmakerreview. After a few days someone reached out. I still had a balance at bovada and was worried about antagonizing them so wanted to wait till they paid me my deposit before I spoke with bookmakerreview.

First message was on Feb 10th. I've been sending follow up emails every week or two. I've heard nothing.

I'm assuming I'm screwed?

Bovada is not a safe place to have money right now.
I understand they cancelled your bets. Word around is that they are doing this more and more.
Did you get a payout from them? How much do you have in there?

I really don't know but it seems as if Matt is the guy that handles every person's complaint and flies solo.

Seems as if he is overwhelmed with the amount of complaints and can't keep up.

Maybe there are others that handle them that I don't know about, but if not, maybe BMR should get the guy some help with what seems to be an enormous stack of complaints nowadays.

After they canceled the bets I fought with them for a little then took out my balance which was my initial deposit. I didn't want them to yank that too.
After reading the other thread it's not looking good for me.

Would you mind telling us a little more about the bets that were cancelled? How much were they for? What were they on?

Yeah my interactions with Matt have always been positive but it does seem like he is very busy. I definitely dont want to dogpile on him but he hasnt responded to my recent emails or posts on here either. Maybe he has no news for me so responding with "no news" is low on the totem pole for his workload rn.

My question is: if there is no news after all this time why has Bovada not had their rating suspended or downgraded?

My question is why don't these books come on this forum and tell us wtf is going on themselves. If I ran a book, I would come here and address these concerns and view every negative post here as a chance to prove our commitment to the community.

Ratings are subjective and manipulable. What I look at for peace of mind when depositing is the monthly payout report thread.
