Stephen Curry Proclaims Himself Greatest Point Guard Of All Time

Asked recently if he is the greatest point guard of all time, Curry said "Yes"

He then gave credit to Magic but he still appointed himself the greatest

The guy isn't even a true point guard, so that answer is no Steph, you are not the best point guard of all time

Michael Jordan and many others also disagreed with Curry

“I beg to differ on greatest point guard of all-time. Magic Johnson is easily the best point guard of all-time,” Jordan said

Magic could have easily scored more points if he had to or wanted to

They're just very different players altogether

I am a big Steph fan, but accomplishment wise Magic Johnson is pretty incredible

Basically 75% of his career he was in the Finals, in the top 3 MVP

Averaged 5 more assists per game than Steph does

By the prototypical "point guard" definition, Magic is the greatest point guard ever

Pass-first player who is 6'9" and rebounds a lot.

The difference is that LeBron much better scorer and defender than Magic and played way longer

He could finish inside. Just couldn't shoot much from the outside

Agree Steph isn’t really even a true point guard like so many players mentioned here.

Most of the time he’s just the guy who throws the first pass in their triangle offense in their set offense. When Green’s in the paint he’s the one finding the open guy more than Curry.

on the fast break Curry is money either pulling up or dishing it.

But I wouldn’t call him a true point guard like many of us that have followed the sport for years would think of
