I'm glad he's okay. Uber drivers should bring anything to use for self-defense in cases like this. Never trust a passenger, and the same goes for the passengers to the drivers.

I'm assuming using that info and the video, he could file charge against the punks that hit him and threatened with a gun.

I hope they do.

I've already read a few cases where Uber cars got carnap and the driver was killed. Very scary!

I mean it could have been a fake account, it could have ordered it for someone else. It might be hard to get a resolution unfortunately. I've never had it happen to me but as far as I know Uber really doesn't provide much help to the driver. If he really wanted to pursue it he would be better off going to the police station
