(Actually - if they could - I am 110% they would. The thing about EBT aside from being “free money” and not holding value to its holders in general - the government PAYS you to take it - around 5% at last check. Grocery is a relatively high volume / low profit industry - like gas stations. So doubling your profit by a customer paying with EBT is great. Smart local stores take advantage and overprice certain items to keep other things affordable that can’t be bought using EBT).

Non English menu boards / picture menus more accommodating clerks who speak Spanish and other local languages in certain areas.

You continue to push the “vote republican” narrative - but reality - how much have they helped anyone but themselves.

How quickly we forgot what administration it was that led the attack on the offshore industry (hint - it’s the one right before Obama from the guy with an initial of a W). Books went out of their way to influence that election and remind us all to vote democrat because of the political leanings of the Republican Party towards gambling.

In my experience- well meaning people in both parties and end of the day neither is here for OUR benefit- only theirs. The narrative the spit is “it’s the other guys fault” - all while filling their pockets. Only difference is they get more in pocket when in power.

Stay independent - don’t blindly follow anyone. Partisan politics is what put us in this position to start with.

Really - so prior to having a border crisis and inner city black kids running amuck - this country was paradise for everyone??

My grandparents/great grandparents who lived through a Great Depression would likely disagree with you on that JJ. They had no concerns about either in their life I am certain - but found plenty of reasons to never trust a politician (or a bank for that matter).

You’re just chasing the boogie man the media potrayed for you today - ignoring the root cause of problems. Tomorrow it will be something new - just like between 1945-1990 it wasn’t illegals from South America - it was those damn communist planning on invading us. So we made nice with the Chinese to keep an ear on what the other commies were saying about us via our “ally”.
