As of last week, all Stan James accounts have been transferred to Unibet (Stan James's parent company). There is no longer a separate Stan James website.

I'd completely forgotten about my Stan James account,but they emailed me and told me that my account had been migrated to Unibet.The limits on my old Unibet account seem to have fallen from around ten quid to zero.No idea whether that has anything to do with the migration of my Stan James account.I tried to contact Unibet on their livechat,but got no reply.
So my plan is just to allow my existing bets with Unibet [which include a few World Cup bets] to resolve,and then to withdraw the balance.
For what it's worth,Stan James had a reputation for limiting accounts which rivalled that of Boylesports.

Stan James were one of the pioneers of online sports betting, especially in-play betting. I always felt that they never really exploited this and other operators such as Bet365 soon overtook them. The fact that Unibet have decided to pull the plug on them as a separate subsidiary isn't the biggest surprise in all honesty.

Unibet also own 32Red - I wonder if their days are numbered as well.

I'm not a big fan of Unibet, but I'm sure they'll honour the outstanding bets on your Stan James account.

They offer a plug in solution other books use. Like 888sport. Not sure of what other brands they actually own though,

They also own 32Red. Their platform provider (and 32Red's) is Kambi Sports Solutions who also power the sportsbooks of 888Sport, Leovegas, Grosvenor Sports and Mr Green.
