St. Louis Cardinals

I am a lifelong Cardinals fan and the love for them goes back with my family to the 1930s. My dad had season tickets from 1956-1987. I went to the 1982, 1985, 1987, 2004, 2006, 2011, 2013 World Series home games. If there are any other die hard Cardinals fans here let me know. As a fan, of them , I can't express what a World Series appearance and hopefully a victory would mean this year. It would be a story book ending with Waino, Pujos, and Yadi, not to mention we have the best corners in the league. They just need to secure their spot in the playoffs and then let the magic begin! One can hope!

flyinillini not sure if this makes us "enemies" or not but I was raised in the midwest as a Cubs fan. I know what you mean about a WS appearance.

Hopefully, you can understand my pain having lived for years with really bad Cubs teams that ran for decades with so much disappointment for so many years. 2016 was a godsend. After that season we didn't care if they ever won again. WE GOT ONE after 108 years. I swear, everyone was crying when it was over. I've since moved on and am now an Astros fan (moving to Texas does that to you) w/ still a huge place in my heart for the Cubbies.

When Cubs play Cards I always have and will continue to cheer for the Cubs. Its a habit I can't break.
GL with your Cardinals. Someday the Cubs will be great again... In about 90 years.

MLB would rather have and needs a Dodgers/Mets National league final but would settle for a Dodgers/Atlanta or Dodgers/Cards. Enjoy your team with those players for the last time.

I'm thinking Astros/Met Series.
MLB won't like it but I think Astros beat NYY in ALCS and Mets beat Dodgers in NCLS.
