I avoid that trap - nothing wrong with being “invested” in your team - but the worst thing to do is bet with your emotions.

Avoid business and pleasure - just enjoy a game every now and then.

A gambler should always do well betting for or against "their" teams. Athletes in College and Professional sports couldn't care less if you fell of the planet. The reason people are fans is because they shared experiences watching these teams play with people that matter in their lives.
