Brewers -120 over Reds
Cortes/Lodolo
Nestor Cortes’ last appearance against his old team is a day he will never forget. The Yankees chased him out of the game after just two innings, putting up eight runs on the board, including five home runs. The good news is Cortes is at home pitching against a Reds team that isn’t great at hitting left-handed pitching so far and was one of the worst in the league when facing lefties last year. The Brewers have many starting pitchers hurt right out of the gates and must win when Cortes and Freddy Peralta are on the mound. Milwaukee is climbing back after their tough 0-4 start to the season. Jackson Chourio is hitting the ball exceptionally well and will look to stay hot tonight. A win tonight will get them right back in the mix. Look for Milwaukee to take advantage of a Reds team making their first road appearance of 2025.
