Love the pitching matchup in this game for our side. Eric Jokisch is a KBO veteran despite being an American and this will be his first season of action. He has a career 2.71 E.R.A. in KBO and is even better this year with a 1.45 E.R.A. through 3 starts. He has a WHIP under 1 and has not allowed a home run this season.
His opponent has been solid as well, but he has played two of the worst teams in the league and will find it much tougher to face this line-up tonight at the Gocheok Sky Dome. Kia was a bottom feeder team last year and now has a new manager for 2022. They do not hit many home runs and it will be hard to score runs off Jokisch without going deep. We will take advantage of a favorable line and collect in a big way on Friday.

I like the fact that the Rockies had yesterday off while the Tigers are coming off an upset win over the New York Yankees Thursday. Antonio Senzatela has posted a 2.16 ERA in his two starts against the Cubs and Dodgers this season for the Rockies as well.
Tarik Skubal and the Tigers should not be this big of favorites over the Rockies today. Skubal has gone 9-17 with a 4.52 ERA in his three seasons in the big leagues. Detroit is hitting just .210 and scoring 3.0 runs per game on the season.
Colorado is 11-4 in its last 15 road games. The Rockies are 8-2 in their last 10 interleague games vs. a team with a losing record. Bet the Rockies Friday.
