Cartels hate competition.

It’s not politically motivated - it’s politically assisted.

The established financial markets see an opportunity- offering opportunities to “invest” in contracts based on who wins major elections worldwide. Markets like these represent a threat to the powerhouses like CME and NYSE and could easily undercut them on price.

So it’s time to call in some political favors and have the FBI charging in and shutting them down. Same thing that occurred with UIEGA. Remember when books were CHEERING for Obama winning the presidency thinking it would lessen the pressure on them ? How long was it exactly until the seizures ramped up and the US government started clamping down on every offshore book and poker operator ?

And of course within a few months of that happening - we saw the introduction of 2 brands that now dominate the landscape - DraftKings and FanDuel - initially operating under the guise of “fantasy sports” while bulldozing their way through political approvals for sports betting. Same thing here - well funded financial types looking to upend the market and create a monopoly that they control - rigging the markets.

The thing about the FBI is they are the ultimate law enforcement agency - and one thing I’ve learned about LE is they like to believe they answer to no one.

No matter who is “in charge” - LE like to believe they are autonomous and answer to no one. They are generally on their own power trips and believe THEY are in charge. After all - no one “votes” on who is going to be director of the FBI - there is no public input. Just like Supreme Court justices - they get the job and then politicians like to feel they have input - but these people go off and do whatever the hell it is they want.

Thunking Trump is just going to tell them stand down and they are going to walk away with a likely wishful thinking. He has bigger fish to fry and may not get involved. How many of his people did he leave out hanging last time around ?

Like I said - everyone thinks a change in the person at the top is going to change everything in their favor - fact is it’s only going to change things in favor of the person at the top.

They answer to the president. They are under no illusion that they answer to no one.

If Trump thinks this is a personal ploy by the Biden administration, he'll reverse it. That's how it benefits him.

Similar to how J.E Hoover was “controlled” by JFK ?

We have that whole separation of powers thing still - while the president can certainly use whatever powers they have and seek to influence what other branches to do - the FBI is part of the judicial branch as it’s controlled by the DOJ. The president cannot dismiss their investigations - only pardon convictions if they are reached after an investigation and trial.

The FBI reports to the US Attorney General who reports to the president.
