Placed a coupla wagers and gotta say not very welcoming at the window…

placed wagers with 3 different writers during visit and experienced faces like mine when my mother-in-law is over…

They acted like, to a man, they were all doin me the biggest favor by taking the bet.

Not the way to grow business…

incidently, I cashed 2 outta the 3 bets and upon cashing…. attitude continues… don’t get it…usually tip 50 on a dime cashed but shit to that on this trip..

Look I get it.. dealin with the public is on no one’s fun things to do list…but,
why is this behavior allowed ?

Used to run over to meadowlands in high school… didn’t charge admission for last coupla races….grab a discarded program and bet coupla tri’s…back then they had 25-30 thousand in attendance on Saturday nite and a 3 mil handle …..

Create a business where customers are eager to come back and do business with you again.

It takes a special person to be upbeat/positive when dealing continuously with the public. The problem is the people with those traits move on to better paying jobs. That leaves those jobs to any warm body the managers can find, regardless of attitude.

Was only there once on a spring morning...Can't imagine that place on a Football Sunday

I live 10 minutes from there and kinda hate it.....lots of trash hanging around there.I prefer to drive an hour plus to Monticello NY or Monmouth Park
