Lines seem a little all over the place this week for some reason. Highlighting a few...
Bills at Patriots (+5)
Originally this was 5.5 but looks like bettors have taken advantage. Should be closer to a field goal, maybe 3.5. Bills are better and Patriots have limitations. I guess the short week advantage is out the window given they both played on Thanksgiving, but still seems a little lofty
Browns at Texans (+7)
I get Houston is a train wreck, but the Browns aren't much better. Are we certain that DeShaun Watson is all that great after so much time off? Maybe it's a "revenge" game for him, but I would tend to think the home team would be motivated to play against him. It's a shitty game to bet, but Cleveland shouldn't be laying 7 points to anyone -- home or away
Jets at Vikings (-3)
Y'all know how much I hate the Vikings, but this seems a little light. These are two teams not as good as their record. Jets off a win will probably come back down to earth...MIke White is still not very good. Kirk Cousins, with his faults, likes that 1pm slot. Feels like it's a little too low of a number
Chiefs at Bengals (+3)
I know it's come down to 2.5 at a lot of places, but still. I pegged this game as a Bengals fan looking at the schedule as one I didn't feel great about...but circumstances have changed a little bit. I think this should be a Pick 'Em -- feels like the definition of a coin flip game. I might have to bet the Bengals just based on the number. Might be the type of game you buy a point take Cincy at like +3.5
Saints at Bucs (-3.5)
I guess this isn't as bad as the others, but New Orleans is really a sad sack of shit team right now, no matter who plays QB. Bucs obviously had a tough loss, but they seem to have a lot more to play for going forward. Divisional games are tough but this probably should be 5 or 5.5.
