Two-time reigning AL Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal won his arbitration case over the Tigers and will make $32 million this year, sources told ESPN, giving the ace $13 million more than Detroit offered.

Well now they have:

• A decent 1-2 punch for starting pitchers.
• A good "heart of the batting order... Greene, Carpenter, Torkelson.
• And some fantastic prospects coming up: McGonigle and Clark

It might get them to ALCS or WS games this year.

You're probably right. That's why they got Framber. They likely knew Skubal was getting big bucks in arbitration so they hedged with Framber and now will try to deal Skubal and his $32M contract.

They could get some decent players or a handful of prospects maybe.


Lets see which teams are still looking for star pitcher and will pay for him...
