These are two terrible pitchers starting, but Doosan has every advantage. Lee Young Ha has a 2+ WHIP this season but has not faced Kia which is the worst hitting team in the league. Kim Hyeon Su is a relief pitcher who can not go long against Doosan's big bats. I expect Doosan to give up a lot of run but score more. Take Doosan on the -1 alt run line. You can take them money line or 1.5 as well.

Suarez and Bae are two excellent SPs who pitch very well against the other team. The team totals for 1st 5 equal 4 so even the Bookmakers know 5 is too high. These are excellent SPs and so-so lineups so it points to the under here. My numbers have it at 4.8.

These are two struggling SPs who have been much worse they their careers. Oh has allowed 13 runs his last two starts and Song has a 6+ ERA and 1.67 WHIP. I think Song is the better pitcher pitcher though looking at FIP and K:BB rates. NC are the current champs and have the lineup and bullpen advantages. This is worth a small play on NC as a dog.

Aoyagi is clearly the better SP and the Tigers are the best 1st 5 run producing team in the league. Aoyagi's stats are a bit skewed because the manager for Hanshin is not good and leaves him in too long. Most of his ERs are after the first 5. Take Hanshin and the 1st 5 money line or run line.

While Chicago is starting Reynaldo Lopez, he hasn't lasted for more than three innings in a game this season. Lopez produced three scoreless innings in his last start in a 1-0 loss to Minnesota, and the White Sox are 7-0 since August of 2018 when Lopez starts at home after pitching for less than five innings in his previous start. I predict Chicago wins this one by two runs.

They are 1-15 since the trade deadline and Kyle Hendricks was hit hard by the Reds the last time he faced them, and hit hard by the Brewers in his last start. Vladimir Gutierrez is 3-0 with a 1.42 ERA in August and he pitched well against the Cubs both times he faced them this season. The Reds didn’t need to use any of their best relievers last night and now they are just 1.5 games out of the Wild Card. As long as we keep getting a ML under -200 against the Cubs, we are taking it. Especially when they’re on the road.

He is 2-9 with 6.21 ERA in 17 starts this year and 1-6 with a 7.48 ERA in night games. I expect this ML to rise a bit during the day.
