SBR Down since Saturday morning

Since the other place cratered early Saturday sometime, I'm seeing a little more traffic here at BMR. Hopefully, it continues to pick up. I think this could be a great forum over time.

I can imagine how upset posters are at SBR especially, the ones that are close to winning some of their ongoing contests (Pick 6). I can't even log into the pick 6 contest due to an error I keep getting but, I do see some are able to post on that comment board. How? I have no idea.

These contests would be great for BMR to consider since I believe they draw a lot of posters. I'm not asking for it to be on the scale of the Pick 6 contest but something small to start would be great.

SIDE NOTE:
The SBR forum pages are completely down making it impossible to post a play in the NFL Straight Up Double Elimination contest. Unfortunately, I'm in the final 3 and would post a GREEN BAY PACKERS pick today but can't. Nor can I PM Spider with my pick. This kind of sucks. Hopefully, the problems at SBR won't disqualify me from that contest. I'm posting my play here in hopes it will serve as documentation for Spider that I made a pick this week.

How about exploring allowing posters to create their own contests like how SBR contests app did?

You'd probably have to copy their sportsbook/contests app and create a new air betting points system, but it probably not that hard to do.

Hi tuesday. I think the first order of business is an easy to use, mobile friendly way of participating in a capping challenge, whether that means full blown contest software or something that works off the BMR Odds Bet Tracker. Member created challenges is a cool concept worthy of consideration once we get rolling.

Hi, I agree - the BMR odds page is better than the other forums right now, so if that software could be expanded with the bets tracker to make something similar to the SBR sportsbook/contest app, that'd probably be the best.

I'm trying to use the bet tracker from my phone, but it doesn't seem to be working for me...I mean it's alot of clicks just to get the bet to track and then the pop up page too...too bad it wasn't simpler but it's good enough for now.

As long as you close out that pop-up you should be able to add a play to the bet tracker from your cell phone by clicking on the odds and the play will show up. What seems to be the issue you are having?

Thanks man, I was just being picky about the pop up all the time and clicking through free screens...shouldn't be picky though, I know, it's good software and specially for the price to use is free hahaha
