Jay have you watched the making of ‘We Are The World’?

Kinda felt sorry for him he was struggling around all of the talent surrounding him and getting his part recorded correctly
No I’ve wanted to watch it though

One of the things in the movie they show is how Dylan took folk electric and kind of created his own genre and left traditional folk behind

He probably felt the same way in 1983/84 when music took a whole new jump into the pop era, leaving the genre he had created behind

But it always comes full circle. Great music will always be appreciated again eventually no matter the era

So it's basically a movie about his upbringing? That might be interesting
Has nothing to do with his upbringing.

Starts in 1961 like I said in original post.

When he was 20 and first got to New York, met Woody Guthrie, Joan Baez, etc. began to shape his sound.

Took the Godson to go see the new Lion King after I picked him up from school

He had a rough day and wanted to go to the movies.

It was pretty good too

He was definitely a fish out of water around the rest of that group

You could see how uncomfortable he was and I believe he almost left and they talked him into staying

Once he settled in he seemed to be fine

He has timeless songs pal

You're barking up the wrong tree

He was NEVER a pop star or has desire for huge success
Hey if you like him, that's fine.

I always thought he sucked.

He has the worst voice in history of any singer ever.

He started out a folk singer and then turned to rock and couldn't really play the guitar 🤣🤣🤣

He's never had a #1 hit.

For crying out loud, a total retard like Taylor Swift has a hundred of them.
