My memories:

1) I'm a little too young to remember much from his acting roles.
2) Two notable offspring:
*Tatum O'Neal, who played the pitcher in 'Bad News Bears' - later married John McEnroe.
*Patrick O'Neal, who acted and has been in sportscasting - used to date Rebecca DeMornay
3) The ladies liked Ryan O'Neal. He had a long list of scores, most notably Farrah Fawcett.
