Hello ,
On 25 of November my account at rivalo was blocked and my balance of 3424.13 eur confiscated due to organized betting according to the customer service.I've opened my account on 24 of october and deposited 100 eur (never got any bonuses) after 150+ single livebets on basketball and handball with maximum stake of 100 eur my balance was increased to 3424.13. Meantime the customer service have sent a couple of e-mails asking me to update my phone number (maybe I have made mistake during registration) which were in my spam folder and I did not see it on time. This is the conversation with the customer serivce:

FIRST THE E-MAILS ASKING ME TO UPDATE MY PHONE NUMBER:

Bulent (Rivalo.com)

Dear XXXXXXX ,

Could you please add your phone number to your Rivalo account .

Thank you for your co-operation

b) is not a restricted person with regard to business activity;
c) does not deposit money that is the proceeds of criminal activity;
d) is opening the account for personal use and has no commercial intentions;

Hello ,
I can't see how I do not meet this rules and I am in breech of it.... !!! I already send you an e-mail explaining to you that NOW I saw an older e-mail from you in the SPAM folder that you are asking me to update my phone number, but it was in the SPAM folder ( I don't know why!!! ). Why if I have seen it I won't update my number with my current one. Every data that I provided during my registration is CORRECT. I can send you copies or photos of documents to proove each data. IT IS CORRECT. I have been nothing but correct to you. I don't see how my phone number is so essential information so you disable my account because of it. In your own rules you specificly ask for e-mail address and home addrsess.Please, I expect not another copy paste answer. Be correct to me as I am to you. Let's sort this out. If you open my account I can change my phone number with my current one , so you can call me If you want. Thank you in advance for your assistance

Regards

Dear XXXXXX,

Your Rivalo account was not closed because we believed you sent us incorrect details on registration or because your phone number was missing. Our Sports Book team reviewed your Rivalo account and after careful investigation together with our security team found that you are linked to a group of users involved in organized betting.

This is not allowed as per Rivalo's Terms and Conditions.

IV. Account Opening / Account

10.Organised Betting: Customers must place their bets as individuals. Where one or more customers have attempted to place the same bet on several occasions, then the bets may be cancelled. These rules can also be applied to bets that have already been assessed if Rivalo needs to assume that several customers are part of a betting association or the respective bets have been placed several times within a short period of time by one or more customers or the bets have been drawn up together. In this event, Rivalo reserves the right to retain the account balance.

Your account will therefore remain closed and your funds confiscated due to this breach.
Thank you,
Rivalo Team

Hello ,
This is outrageous I bet ONLY for my self I do not discuss my bets with anyone, I even don't have the time because I bet only in-play and make desisions in a matter of seconds. It is very unlikely that someone would even coincidental place the same bets because I have over 150 bets for a month.This is just not POSSIBLE. You just want to stole my money just like that.I am absolutely sure that you have no proof of what your saying, because I know ONCE AGAIN THAT I BET ONLY FOR MY SELF AND DO NOT DISCUSS MY BETS WITH NO ONE. If you do not send me my money that was hard earned and cost me many hours in front of the computer and the risk of losing my money, tomorrow morning there will be threads and complaints in every bookmakers review and rating guide sites, about this outrageous behaviour you've prooven yourselfs as common thieves and that rivalo=scam. I have been notihng but correct to you. I could withdraw my winnings long ago. I didn't need that kind of reserve of funds at your site , because I could bet only 100 eur max at a time , but I tought that I can trust your site and my money is safe. I kept my money at your site so if I had lost it would be here with you not with some other bookmaker. Now I am hoping that you will do the right thing, because otherwise there will be serious consequences to your business. Tomorrow morning every bettor will know exactly what to expect from your site I'm waitng for your answer in order to know how to further proceed.

Dear XXXXXX,

As we have previously informed you our Security and Sports book teams have reviewed your Rivalo account 'rali83 ' thoroughly and we have sufficient evidence that you are linked to a group of users involved in organized betting. This is not allowed and a clear breach of Rivalo's Terms and Conditions.

As explained , in the event that such organized betting takes place, Rivalo reserves the right to retain the account balance.Your account will therefore remain closed and your funds confiscated due to this breach.

Same situation here.I opened an account in rivalo.com on 14.09.2013 and made deposits of total 4960 euro. I didnt take their bonus. I made series of strike winning bets and made my balance to 50336 euro. On 21.11.2013, 4 days ago, after i made withdraw request of 7000 euro and provide all the requested documents to verify my account and they was approoved, they send me a message "After careful investigation they have found that your Rivalo account is linked to an illegal group of organized betting.According to Rivalo Terms and Conditions as per below , if an account is opened and managed in breach of the provisions set out ,then Rivalo is entitled to confiscate all funds from said account." I am not part of any group and i dont know what they mean. And they provide me exactly the same answer....I think they are scammers.

I have got also problem with them. I made an account, verified it as usually even they asked me to send them a copy of my ID close to my face, okay I did it. Everything seemed to be okay wit verification and I started to deposit and place bets, still fine one of my withdrawals they asked me for a phone number. I gave it and received the money easily without phone call. Later when the winnings got bigger I tried to cash out then nothing came for a few days. I decided to write them what is going on. On the next day when I was at my job in the noisy storehouse a lady called me on my handy and start to ask me questions about me, my username, my payment method what kind of amount I requested to cash out stuffs like that. I couldn't answer to all of her question because my accounting are at home and I have got many registrations at many bookmakers and I use different usernames and payment options in each of them,I make like 100 bets per day and up to 10 withdrawals per day I cant remember all of them in my head. So I asked the lady to call me later when I am at home so could give her all of these details. She said NO and continue asking me questions. Later when I come back home I loged in to see what is going on and after few minutes they deactivated my account. I wrote to them and explained everything and they wrote:
"We have closed your account due to a failed phone verification. You were not able to answer almost all questions we asked you therefore we believe that you are not the user of your account. As described in our terms and conditions an account needs to be used by the registered person, due to this your account will remain closed. This decision is final."
I tried to explain with more details what happened but they still sending the same answer then I asked for a phone or mobil number to call them and fix the problem, no answer yet.
Is there anyone know how could I fix the problem and where and who to complain about that situation?

There's a bit of a backlog from when the email switched over but you should hear a reply soon.

I have not received any answer yet. I wrote them again. Do you know some other services where I could complain about my problem?

Two more Polish players lost too 5000PLN (1250€) and 7200PLN (1800€) after similar "verification".

http://www.surebety.pl/artykul/rivalo

Telephone number is not a personal data, so it shouldn't be taken as a break of T&C. That's the standard in the brand of bookmaking.
This is just an excuse from Rivalo to steal the money. They rejected to comment this situation to SBR and SureBety.pl.
