Translation:

"The famous American actor, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, died drowned this Sunday on Grande Beach, in Cocles de Limón.

The incident occurred between 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., as detailed by the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ), an authority that had to arrive at the site to carry out the removal of the body.

The known information is that this 54-year-old man would have entered the sea and was dragged by a current.

Because there were other people on the spot, they came to try to rescue him as soon as possible, but just as the Red Cross staff arrived, the man was found no longer with vital signs.

Faced with the fatality of the event, the judicial agents transferred the body to the Judicial Morgue for routine autopsy.

People magazine reported that the actor was vacationing in the country with his family.

The actor played the only son of Bill Cosby's character, Theodore "Theo" Huxtable, in the 1984-1992 comedy.

For his part, the American media TMZ recalled that the artist participated in the comedy "Malcolm & Eddie" and also lent his voice in "The Magic School Bus."

"He even demonstrated his musical talent by winning a Grammy in 2015," they noted before indicating that Warner launched the "Not All Hood" podcast a few days ago."

that is sad. for me, it is always weird when someone i grew up watching on tv who is close to my age passes away.

he seemed like a good dude. may he rest in peace.

swimming in water is no joke. getting caught in a rip current is a terrible way to go. you just know you are being taken and are helpless. trying to fight but not winning and eventually you suffocate.
