Beat me to it. Guy was funny as hell

Just saw him on the golf course with Larry David during that show Curb your enthusiasm, yeah he seemed pretty lifeless. RIP he was a pretty funny dude. I only knew the old version of him so I don’t wanna slight his talent by saying he was “pretty funny”.

He was far more than “funny” - he simply had a wit about him like few others. Self deprecating, always sharp and just a genuine legend.

Went to Ohio State and then hit the west coast after graduating - worked with every legend of comedy in the late 70s/80s. Always liked how he joked about being the only alcoholic who primarily drank champagne.

Appropriate they are ending curb - being to lose alot of regulars on that show.

Also forgot he and Todd Snider (alt/country musician and again a witty as hell person himself) were very good friends until Todd posted it to FB a few minutes ago.

Parkinson’s is one hell of a hard disease to live with - hopefully he wasn’t so far gone. Thoughts to the family, many friends and fans of this guy.
