A lot of people just don’t get Ozzy’s sense of sarcasm having done 5+ decades of interviews and this thread shows it. Quoting some of what he said like he really meant it.

One of his quotes though I think that best sums up a few a few posters in this thread - You don't accidentally become an asshole. It takes a bit of work.

False. No, Ozzy Osbourne is not a devil worshiper, despite the dark and sometimes Satanic imagery associated with his music and stage persona. While his lyrics and public image have sometimes leaned into occult themes, Osbourne has consistently stated that he is not involved in Satanism and that he believes in God. He has described himself as a Christian and even mentioned praying before concerts. The "Satanic" label is largely attributed to his artistic expression and media sensationalism, rather than his personal beliefs.
That is a true quote.

He said that.

He promoted satanic imagery, lifestyle, and music throughout his life.

A dedicated follower of Satan no matter how you slice it.

He said it but it's definitely not true. 👏

So he clearly stated he's a devil worshipper, dedicated his life to that image, but it's not true?
He said but again. No, Ozzy Osbourne is not a devil worshiper, despite the imagery and themes in some of his music. While he was the frontman for Black Sabbath, a band known for its dark imagery and heavy metal sound, he has publicly stated that he is a Christian and does not worship Satan. He has even mentioned praying before concerts and has spoken about his belief in God.

So you believe he was a Christian?

When was the last time you or anyone saw him in Church?

Look at the image above his head.

This guy was a Christian?

Also, so he raised money so what?

What does that prove?

Lots of evil people in this world are the heads of foundations.

Bill Gates
Bill Clinton
Hillary Clinton
Barack Obama
Michelle Obama
Joe Biden
Jill Biden
George Soros
Jeffrey Epstein has has own foundation

The list is endless.

Genie name 10 of his songs. Without looking them up.

Sunshine - We love you, “I Don’t Know”, but you seem to be “Paranoid” and riding a “Crazy Train” to a “Suicide Solution”. Might be just a “Shot In The Dark”, but “I Just Want You” to get off of this “Road To Nowhere”, make some “Changes”, and “Iron Man” it up.

“No More Tears”?!?!

How does showing up for church make one more or less a Christian ??

Who, other than the church, preaches that how much you support the church (especially financially) makes you a “better” Christian ?

I get that active participation in organized religious practices can strengthen the faith - but you know what does it just as well - PRACTICING ALL THOSE ATTRIBUTES WE HAVE BEEN TAUGHT AS BEING “GOOD CHRISTIAN” ACTS.

You have fallen too far into the Catholic teachings that you can buy your way into heaven and reduce your time in purgatory by giving more to support the Catholic Church and lost sight of the truth - you will be judged based on your actions alone, not the size of your donations. Help others and respect them, show love and gratitude for all of gods creatures and in general make the world a better place for having you in it. Cheating others to enhance your bank account and sharing 10% with the church is not a path to heaven.

Lots of wrongs things in this post. Where to start?

Ok let's see.....Protestantism is the only form of Christianity that says you don't have to go to Church and that reading the Bible is required for salvation.

Both the Catholic Church and Orthodoxy reject these notions.

First of all, going to Church is required for personal salvation. Specifically to receive the penance of confession and the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.

These are essential for a Christian. A true Christian I mean because if we're really being honest about it, then Catholics are the only real Christians on earth.

Being a Christian is like anything else you want to be in life.

It requires work.

You don't wake up one morning, pick up a Bible and start reading and all of a sudden you think you're a Christian.

Christianity is like the Marine Corps.

It requires initiation, practice, following a regimen, dedication.

The first part of the initiation is Baptism.

Then you must be confirmed. This is Confirmation.

Then, you must receive the Holy Eucharist.

So on and so forth.

It does not require reading a book lol.

It does requires the Church.
