Was responsible for a lot of the Jazz success as first as coach then GM as the team became contenders during the 90s

Former Jazz coach and GM Layden dies at age 93

Frank Layden, who led the Jazz to their first playoff appearance and was part of the front office that selected John Stockton and Karl Malone, has died.
