Honestly I feel like regardless of circumstances at any certain point in life, I have been feeling more appreciative of things in life than I used to. I don't know if that's a part of growing up, but even just over the last couple of years I have really valued simpler things and have generally been happier

There are things in life we can ALL be happy about, I'm sure of it

I think so much of our perception of "where we are" in life is generated by external pressure and fake BS. It's possible to be very motivated in life and want to be successful, but also not strive for some distorted/fake view of what success is

I dunno, I hope that makes sense

I think about this kinda stuff all the time lmao

i bought my 1st house when I was 23/24....and sadly I am still in my 1st house

My mindset was to buy a 2nd house at this point, but then again I did the American stereotypical path of success. I settled down mid 20s, got married and were planning on upgrading houses and then life happened and divorced and back to square 1

ideally I would do the real estate, have a 2nd house or unit and rent it out and make residual money every month. That's still the long term goal, but was hoping it would have happened by now

but being 32 and 3 months shy of 11 years at 1 company and top salesman, I can't complain too much

Lot of good to look at there, lot of things to appreciate. Also, buying a house before 25 is a pretty big deal nowadays. Good job.

....Plus you might be able to buy a damn island in not too long if you keep the tennis wagering up ;)

in a dream world i could bet $500-1000 a game and really do damage financially and bill wise and goal wise and continue to build up the betting size. I'm not even close to that level, but def dreaming of it
Hope you can rent out some time in not so long. If you want it you’ll grind for it

Where my gambling capital comes from . I’ll tell you now that getting rental income > betting $500-1k a game. I’m about to lose $1k because an Italian guy can’t kick a ball through a wide open net…..not fun!

bad beats are a horrible feeling when you rationalize what you were planning on doing with the winnings

i tend to go to my bathroom and sit down on the floor in the dark and sit in silence for 2-3 minutes

reset and move on
