Rich Strike not attending Preakness for rest

Might have more to do with them not wanting to push their luck not believing in their own horse to finish high again

Prior to Derby they were only planning for Belmont Stakes. Would be too much.

I think they realize the Preakness with the shorter distance and tight/crowded track doesn't give their horse a chance.

Looks like they’re headed for Belmont instead. Might be a better fit. Horse seems to like go long.
