The nicest suburb of Detroit.

It’s actually not bad overall - been on the upswing quietly.

Toledo proper is nothing special - typical rust belt city. But with the lake right there and some great recreational opportunities both on Erie and some other lakes within an hour or so drive it’s nice.

Thought seriously about Celina area / Grand Lake which is probably an hour SW or so from Toledo. Sandusky is a nice area too hour due East.

Only downside is the winter - lake effect is a pain in the ass.
