The Raiders fired coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler amid a 3-5 start to the season. Linebackers coach Antonio Pierce has been named interim coach.

Bisaccia earned the respect of his players. And you don't hear that a lot from pro athletes.

The players viewed Gruden as more of a task-master. They felt like Bisaccia was more malleable to their comments.

As for McDaniels? They probably think he's just a clown. IMHO, McDaniels/Allen/Staley were the three worst coaches in the league.

Honestly, some of Belichick's best work was the 1990 Super Bowl.

Devised a scheme to slow down the Bills. Allowed Reed to make catches but pay the price with big hits.

The Giant Off/Def scheme in the 1990 Super Bowl produced one of the classic upsets. Less-talented team beat the more-talented team b/c of scheme.
