I couldn't agree more.

They handed out bribes to win the bid.
Agreed to a lot of things in advance (alcohol, acceptance of LBGTQ fans from overseas).
They used hired fans from Lebanon to fill their seats as fake Qatar fans.
No respect for LBGTQ. Stopped players from having rainbow colors and fans are being stopped as well.
People died building the venues.

So many things wrong with this "WORLD" cup event. Can't really say it's brough the world together.

Qatar's government says that 30,000 foreign labourers were hired just to build the stadiums. Most come from Bangladesh, India, Nepal and the Philippines.


In February 2021, the Guardian said 6,500 migrant workers from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka had died in Qatar since it won its World Cup bid.

Dudes go missing all the time from the farm fields in Minny, the pork factories in Iowa, the ethanol plants in Dakotas and I know for sure there's thousands missing in Louisiana & Florida sugar cane fields because my former USDA 40plex in Arcadia literally had 3 dudes go missing in a 6 mo span.
