Why isn't there a Dunkirk like rescue happening for this people in Gaza? I'd they're only exit is the Mediterranean, then surely countries like Iran or others would organize it.

I think the only way out for Palestinians that are not part of Hamas is through the Rafah crossing into Egypt. The only other crossing (there's only 2) is into Isreal and it is closed. Leaving by sea isn't an option since Israel patrols the water.

Unfortunately, I've read Hamas controls the Gaza side of the Rafah crossing and is restricting people from leaving.
