Many, MANY, years (and beers) ago. Never could do it with 2 hands, only palm it with one, and even then couldn’t do it every time…..

I could do it in high school and only during practice. I'd miss a lot. Hands too small.

We had 4 guys that could do it on our team. One guy could get way the hell up there. He do screechers. He'd jump, pin the ball high on the backboard and while pulling it down, rub it against the backboard making a sound like a tire burning rubber before throwing it through the hoop.

He broke two backboards during practice in one season and the coach said, No More.

This actually came up at EOG many many years ago when poster Mofome would post occasional vids of him doing things in sports like throwing footballs in garbage cans from a distance. i have proof there somewhere.

Sucks, nowadays there would be a slo-mo HD version of me dunking - but, alas, mine was circa 1990-ish when nobody even had a big VHS 100-pound video camera, let alone an iPhone…..

I could probably still touch halfway up the net, then blow-out my knee - if you’d like a crystal clear digital video of that…..

Sucks, nowadays there would be a slo-mo HD version of me dunking - but, alas, mine was circa 1990-ish when nobody even had a big VHS 100-pound video camera, let alone an iPhone…..

You seem credible here at Bmr. Id guess 10% of posters really ever dunked. And look at post #9 im so sure jjgoof could have even come close

I was filling in for our HS squad in a Bethel League match versus Mounds View.

I'm a big guy, 6'2 255 in HS. Im going into Senior year.

This punk freshman, who was like 7 feet tall, I'm told to guard him him. 2nd play of the he is backing me down, spins and posterized me. Dunk, hung on the rim while his nut sack rubbed back and forth on my head. Great. That was Nick Horvath. Went to Duke for Coach K.

Months later I'm asked to dress for a conference game as half our squad was out with Mono after a party with the girls volleyball squad and their captain, all the way Kay.

My assignment that evening....Joel Pryzbella. He put 30 on me and several dunks. The last making the front page of the Star Tribune sports section with again, my head buried in his elevated crotch.

I think dunking should be illegal.
