I’m in the city itself, about 20 minutes north of the strip/downtown areas
You from near Vegas Bobby? Did you just move there for the action or something else? I used to tell myself it would have been fun to live in Vegas in my 20s or 30s but I couldn’t have handled it. Too undisciplined. Now that I would be disciplined enough I have absolutely no desire other than a trip every once in awhile

About 10 years ago I was working at the golden nugget casino in New Jersey where I am originally from. I was going to get laid off from my department and they asked me if I wanted to move out to Vegas to continue to work for them. I moved out here and worked for about another seven or so years for them and was doing Uber and Lyft on the side. Now I am doing Uber and Lyft full-time because I make more money and have more flexibility.

once you live in Vegas, you never go to the strip/downtown unless your family or friends are in town. There’s a lot better local casinos where food and drinks are cheaper and they have better pay tables especially on video poker

My buddies that live in Vegas say the same thing, every time we go off the strip we end up in a shithole.

Have you ever...

Not yet thankfully. I drive a premier vehicle so customers pay more for their ride. So the class of people tend to be better, I don't deal with a ton of drunks etc...like you would driving a basic car
