Deceiving title that just is not true. They drafted all their talent with exception of Cooper and that was years ago. The lazy atmosphere has always been that way since the "Evil Emperor" bought the team and is a control freak and only hires "yes Men." We had Jimmy Johnson and that was it and it didn't last long. The Evil Emperor wanted all the attention. yes, they had Parcels but he was toast at the end of his career just happy to get a check. The core Jimmy put together those 1st few years had that passion and work ethic to continue well after he left. If they had a Jimmy type during the Romo years, they would have won a title or at least got to the Super Bowl a few times.

I was the same way when Jameis Winston was in Tampa

Lifelong DieHard Bucs fan but as long as he was there I had zero interest

If you are a huge Cowboy fan than you know the issue has always been Jerry. His kids will probably run it the same way. Jimmy Johnson and the Herschel Walker trade made early 90s teams. Any of Jerry's Yes Men could have coached those established players that Jimmy had.

RBs are not worth what they once were. Once their rookie contracts run out they are usually disposable at that point. I would not have given Zeke a ton of money. Jerry had no choice in signing Dak. I don't have to tell you why. I am sure you know why.

Not necessarily as bad as it could be since Pollard is such a stud. Somewhat lights a fire under Zeke's ass or at least should IMO.
Dak put up the numbers deserving to get paid based on what others were getting paid around the league. Race comes into play more than we think. If Jerry didn't pay him, after Dak put up better numbers than just about every other QB in the league than what draft pick or free agent would ever want to sign with Dallas in the future?
