They can file a grievance and likely will.

Pirates continue to be one of the cheapest organizations in sports - crying about lack of revenue. Granted their media deal is small - but they have a great stadium and draw well for the size of the city.

Next to my Indians/Guardians - one of the worst teams as to treatment of players/coaches - especially financially. Remember this is the team who once told Barry Bonds no way in hell they would give him $1 more than Andy Van Slyke when Bonds was coming up to free agency and said he wanted paid more than AVS as he was a more complete player and demanded $1 more as a show that they agreed. AVS was of course white and a fan fave and Bonds was not fan friendly and viewed as the next Dave Parker (who was also mistreated in Pitt).
