St John’s has shit facilities, high academic standards, and is a Catholic school. Pitino can’t help them. Georgetown has similar problems.

College sports is filled with coaches like this. Perfect example today.... Houston B-ball coach.

Kelvin Sampson cheated at Oklahoma; went to Indiana and cheated there; had to sit out 5 years from college coaching as a penalty; and is now at Houston.

Has made each school very good teams in the process but he's broken the rules at every stop (Houston pending).

Damn near all of them break the rules. Its a matter of who gets caught and who gets the away with it.

Pitino will win at St. Johns. All this man does is win. He is a great hire for St. Johns who should be better than they are because they should be able to get great recruits being New York's team.
