1.2 million per year - seems pretty fair.

Hell my local HS asked 1 million for 10 years for naming rights - and you got no luxury suites in that deal.

10 days a year - seems like a great way to start a festival - 3-4 day weekend event ran by his vodka label. That alone is worth probably 500k a year easily - and being locked in for a decade gives him a chance to build the event.

His net worth gotta be under 100 million I assume for him to do that deal.

🤣 A midget Cuban theater artist/musician that has never thrown hands in his life named himself "Pitbull" honestly can't take this shit anymore.

More rappers will make this move in the future.

Or at least their labels or other vanity brands (IE Snoop and his new Death Row lifestyle brand).

Again - low stakes really and the school is more interested in getting a local name attached than the money. Could easily pull a million a year from some local bank - but who wants to make a press announcement that a local credit union bought naming rights and got use of the field for their company outing next year ?

A million and you get 12 appearances from a name celebrity and to use him in ads - that helps immensely in this day and age of NIL - a school like
this knows they can’t offer cash like a Power 5 school - but target 3 stars and sell them on the lifestyle in Miami including connections to Pitbull.

How long until USC has a deal with Snoop ?

Musicians have long paid big $$ to get their names in the paper. Look at all the artist who have their own record label (but it’s distributed by the same companies they used to work for) - just like in the 70s when every major arena band “owned” their own private plane with their name on the side. It’s a vanity thing - only this one has some benefit to the school aside from the money which they could get anywhere.
