Pinnacle Hack?

Just logged into my Pinnacle account to see that betting is disabled. This is on a fully verified account.

I went to the verification section, and it says that someone is already logged into my account from Curacao on a Windows 10 device.

I have never been to Curacao and don't have a Windows 10 device.

The site said I have to upload proof of residence, which I did quickly.

Pinnacle has disabled all withdrawals and the site is now claiming that my account is totally unverified.

It seems like my balance might disappear shortly.

I e-mailed customer support about this. Their response:

"Kindly note that in able to review your documents, the relevant department must access your upload tool."


Seems pretty weird.

As my account sits in limbo, I want to note that I've been using this account for five months and had already verified the address.

Didn't move or change devices or configurations, so it's very weird that suddenly I had to upload another address verification document, especially with the interface telling me that someone was already logged into my account from Curacao.

Maybe just a website/technical glitch? I know Pinnacle had a weird log in error for about 30 minutes yesterday. Might want to enable 2FA just in case, though it kinda sounds like a pain in the ass if I'm being honest.

Seems like a weird website glitch that would cause a client to lose identity verification.

The only thing I can think of is that I accidentally tried to login yesterday with VPN set to USA. Obviously I wasn't allowed to login, then went back to my usual IP was was able to log in normally.

Update:

Problem is fixed. Sucks I was locked out from betting all day yesterday, but my status is now fully verified again and withdrawals and wagering are available.

No idea why that happened.
