All the heavyweights.
Have you been betting on these tourneys I don’t recall you posting your H2H’s in here lately. I may have been mistaken though ?

I lagged last week with the course info but I wasn't betting Top 20's, etc for the playoffs. It's a different animal. When next season starts I'll get a back into applying the golfers x course methods.

Playoffs are too fukked up, motivations are different. Eventually there's a staggered start.

I'll cap the tourney, in a sense, but it won't be the same methods as I've posted.

Back to back Glover wins were in my cards last week, but I didn't have the balls to bet it...fukk

One thing's for sure, the scores aren't going to be blowing it up like in weeks past.

Look's like we've had 4 tourneys since the wrap around season began on Sept 18th, 2022 where the tourney winner was less than double digit under par, just 4. Two of those were -9, a -8, and a -7.

This course, this week, could end up playing as the toughest course all season. It will probably the highest scoring winner so far, at maybe -5 or -6, I don't think we see double digits here, but we measure the toughest course, usually, by thte average to par, so the winner doesn't tell us everything.

Going to need land drives and have a decent approach shot to give the putter a chance here.

In fact, the BMW Championship itself is geared towards low ass scoring, like -20 if they can. But this is the 2nd year they've played at Olympia Fields, Illinois.

Last time, in 2020, Rahm won with a -4 score.

Finding Rahm at 10-1 might not be bad move.

Rory McIlroy always a danger in such a skilled tourney.

I had Colin Morikawa last week, he failed. He's on the radar again at near 25-1 odds, not bad.

But perhaps the best value I see so far could be Max Homa at 25-1 or so. If I had that, and he was in the running on Sunday, I would consider trading out.

I haven't pulled the trigger here, still looking at options, including matchups but this isn't exactly a course where we have a rich tourney history to go off of.

What we know is that it takes a bit of consistent skill here, it's not like the tournaments we've seen recently. This course will be tougher.

I'll do a breakdown soon and probably make a bigger case for Homa, at least to try to get equity.

Rory +950 (+300 boost)
Homa +2200
Morikawa +2200
Lucas Glover +3000
JT Poston +6500

DK

Nice little boost there. I always complain that they boost already shortened odds and still fukk the bettor, but there's something to that Rory boost, a little more meat than most for this situation.

Homa and Morikawa too, golfers I've been looking at.

Big case for Fleetwood, now that JJ Gold said not to take him... :lmao:

...Going to need land drives and have a decent approach shot to give the putter a chance here...

Accurate driving, but more importantly, driving distance registers as more predictive here, at Olympia Fields, especially for 2020, than any other stat.

Think about it. Who won in 2020? Rahm, who else was there? Dustin Johnson. They can bomb and were back in the COVID days.

Then we have the need for short game, to, like I say..."give that putter a chance".

Driving isn't the greatest, but Hideki Matsuyama has a short game like no other. If he can perform, even slightly with the filed, off the tee, he has a tremendous amount value for this course because of his short game.

Matsuyama at 35-1 is something we have to consider.

Rory with the all around game here that can't be denied, though, that makes him a good match for this tough course.

Can't take Glover here.

But Sam Burns is on my radar for a couple of looks.

I might be walking back some of my comments about not capping it like the rest of the tourneys because it's the playoffs. I'm starting to see some windows of opportunity here.

What if Glover never lost again?

I guess that would keep his wife from attacking him and his mom
