Guess they had to do something

*12 elevated tournaments with purses between $15 million and $20 million

*Doubling Player Impact Program from $50 million to $100 million in 2022 & 2023

*Launching an Earnings Assurance Program for fully exempt members, guaranteeing a league-minimum salary of $500,000 per player

I wonder if they start getting those players back after a few years that they lost. They get their bag & comeback to tournament play that counts toward legacy & reputation/status.

Does all the added PGA money prove that the players were underpaid all these years?

Kind of wild how PGA was able to add so much $$ so quickly

Let me offer an analogy for you posters. These former PGA tour players are going overseas to get their money/bag and then potentially leave, that’s what I believe. It’s like prostitution in a sense. Like a very high class prostitute goes to a John’s house to get paid up front have sex and leave. That’s essentially what they are doing. At the most highest rate possible.

Like any good business can't blame either side here as they were able to get away with it. They may have went over-board now as it shows how greedy they have been for far too long to instantly come up with so much more coin. The LIV is still unwatchable for me at this point. The may have paid the players but didn't do enough on the broadcast side of things. Really has been unwatchable.

Totally agree can’t watch it not even with David Feherty in the booth. The whole visual layout is unattractive to look at & follow.

PGA can do this now because their anti trust case got pushed back to January 2024.

They'll settle/ merge w LIV probably around August or September 2023.
I could see this happening as well. Also points will have to be assessed to the LIV tour so these players don’t lose their world ranking status in order to play all the majors & so forth.
