Became the first amateur since Phil in 1991 to win a PGA event last weekend.

Good move to turn pro. He now has fully exempt status on PGA Tour through 2026 as a result of his win.

Good on him - too bad he can’t take that 1.5 mil he earned.

Still 2 years to earn his stay on the tour - a number of exemptions into the field for big money events and simply being a fresh face in a sport that’s had relatively few since Tigers debut for the public to follow and cheer for is huge.

He’s young, marketable and has 2 years to cash in - nothing for him to do in college. Take the money and try to build on what you have done.

I’m sure he got a good agent and tons of endorsement deals to make up some of the $$ he missed out on
