There was one thing I've heard about. I think there was a cartoon map that might have showed China owning the South China Sea, a cartoon map mind you.

Other contries, like Vietnam, didn't take to kindly to that misinformation. I think some bored US politicians tried to make something out of it too.

Crazy to try to find meaning in whimsical cartoon map, and those that are are putting the nine dash line where it isn't.

This grab right here caused the movie to be banned in, at least, Vietnam.
