Those probabilities are kind of bullshit though.

That's why we can still beat the vig while LIVE betting, even on both sides of a game.

There are a different set of probabilities at play there, market wise, and it puts these other win probabilites into a better perspective.

I've posted about this in the past and my "comeback metric" that we can overlay on a given game or sets of games.

The reason for this is that the parameters and statistics being used to calculate these win probabilites are so limited and basic.

They can't even compete with the noise, or stand out from the noise, created in the data.

Specifics. and specific data, are your friend in those calculations.

variance is a factor here in my opinion.
