So she managed to steal cash from her employer for at least 10 months unnoticed - when eventually caught ot took another 2 years for her to see a court room.

This says more about how lax Fred Meyer accounting and loss control are - and explains exactly why they pled it down. If they wouldn’t have been so bad at their jobs - this would have been caught in a week. Store didn’t want to see this one see an open court as it would have made them look like idiots letting her get away with theft for so long so easily.

Probably wont serve 90 days - just claim addiction and promise to attend GA meetings. Guaranteed she started small ($40-100 here and there) and realized she could get away with murder so the amounts kept growing.
