Optimal Payments,who own Neteller,are buying Skrill in a reverse takeover.IMHO,that leaves Paypal as their main competitor,although Paypal isn't exactly an ewallet.

Not read the article yet, but is this true or just rumour / they've made an offer? Seems odd as I'm sure skrill is far more popular than neteller. I'm definitely out if this is true. Neteller's fees are extortionate. Almost as bad a payday loans.

Pretty sure it's true - although not over the line yet.I'm guessing that they'd keep both brands.Being called a reverse takeover or merger.
