Depending upon the website you read on this, the umpire was fired from the conference he was umpiring in and will never be allowed to work in that organization again.

Another site said the umpire was just suspended.

I think he was fired. There's a statement from the conf commiss saying he's gone.

Was the kid an idiot for showing where the previous pitch was with his bat and jumping around? Yeah, but it’s unreal to see an ump actually call that
