First - I 100% agree on the sentiment that grown ass men seeking autographs are the stupidest people on earth. I simply do not get it - like “look at this - someone famous scribbled on this” - can’t sell them - everyone is going to think it’s fake like 99% of the autographs on eBay - not worth getting an expert to certify it - cost like $100 and most “experts” don’t know shit about handwriting analysis- just compare to known good examples and who really is paying big $ for a Kelce autograph anyway.
Yea - the “fan” likely gets his ass kicked on the regular if he talks to anyone like that. Love how he talks shit and then does a 180 when Kelce comes back over:
I never understood autographs beyond say age 12. Kids at a ballgame - different story. But grown men wanting a signature of a mid level sports name - why ? I mean he’s “famous” in that he does soup commercials - has a brother who dates a superstar and seems to be a genuinely decent guy - but will anyone remember him in 10 years ?
Only thing worse is at a game when people literally beat the shit out of each other for a foul ball. Again - Judges 62nd HR ball or something “special” - ok (I don’t get beating someone over the head for it - but get trying to catch it at least) - but jumping over 3 rows of seats because some guy who was in AA a week ago and will be back there next month fouls a ball into the seats - don’t get it. But someone else I’ll kill themselves for that ball and probably a kid innocently standing in their way - all to get a “souvenir”.
