Fan “deceived” with tickets in end zone due to typo on listing


Don’t feel bad for the guy at all really.

The listing was supposed to read level 100 - there was no guarantee option of sideline vs end zone for this game.

So he cried that he got 6 seats dead center of the end zone instead of on the 50 - and nobody would do anything for him.

The topper for me was when he talked about selling the seats on the secondary market and how he’d “lose 2k at least”. So you paid $850 a seat - you COULD sell them for 3x what you paid - but instead you bitch because you didn’t get MORE valuable tickets and asked for replacements or a full refund.

Fans like this are what has ruined games for me. OSU alumni are lucky to get a single game ticket allocation and it’s usually some shitty game. This guy has 6 season tickets - gets tickets to the championship at face value and cries he’s not getting prime real estate citing a typo.

Would love to see the University just revoke his tickets - say keep your Presidents Club dues - we got a line of people willing to pay who won’t go on the news bitching and moaning about where they sit and end stories like this. Freaking ridiculous a guy who likely pays 50k plus a year in a donation to get those tickets cries that he has to spend a few thousand more because he didn’t get the seats he hoped for.

The guy buying the tix misinterpreted what they were offering. Seems like he personally read it as though "level 100 was mid-field seats" on his own.

Take the win and walk away - instead got to bitch and moan asking for a refund AND to keep your tickets (that will likely be sold for a profit anyway).

If I was the university and found out he sold them after this story - like I said “permaban”.
