I think this has always been the case but not much they can really do

Some of these books, such as Bovada, will advertise on AM radio sports stations and bring attention to themselves

The states want to force us to use the sh!tty legal books but in reality will never be able to stop it or they would be back to making it nearly impossible to move money back & forth again

As I’ve said before - margins tightening at the legal apps who paid a ton of cash for the right to operate in a state. Apps are demanding more and more “enforcement” be taken as tired of hearing customers complain about juiced up props and 20 cent lines and the big bettors going offshore.

So they are demanding protection from offshore especially the blatant advertisers. Bovada/BetUS/ect. They paid for their duopoly and they want it protected - now.

There will be a token level of enforcement by state gaming commissions - but nothing to severe. Nothing until law enforcement can figure a way to build a way to seize funds from offshore - which will be very difficult. Even if you find it - you gotta fight feds and other states wanting their share of the pie. Everyone just waiting for someone else to do the hard work and then jump on the bandwagon demanding most of the gains.
